Micole starts to eat!!

After last 2 weeks of picking at her food, she starts to eat better last 2 days.  At least she finishes up the portion we gave her, leaving only some crumbs only for the Sis waiting by her cage.. haha!! Too bad Schnappi~~ Noticed that Micole's likes pork.  She seems to be enjoying it when we gave her small bites.

This weekend Micole is going for her "first" Intermediate trial.  How come "first"?? It's actually her second time participating.  The last round she went in and pooed in the ring, hence was dis-qualified even before she started.  Hopefully this doesn't happen again~~

Anyway just hope she can do her best this weekend. Jia You!!

Micole is not eating again!!

Or rather, she's picking on her food again!! Not sure if it's because of her heat, or simply because she's picky.  She sometimes even refuses her favorite dog biscuit. 

Maybe she could be throwing a temper because people keep saying she's fat.. haha!! So she decided to cut down on her diet.. oops!!

Anyway we've cut down her portion to half and she's eating slowly, taking her own sweet time to finish her food.  Then there will be this Schnappi, always standing by to gobble down Micole's leftovers.  Wonder if she'll put on weight with this excessive eating.. :)  We also realised that Micole likes to "eat" Schnappi's saliva.  After Schnappi licked her leftovers, she would happily clean up the remaining crumbs from her bowl.  No wonder she always want to follow Schnappi around.. She likes her so much to enjoy Schnappi's saliva in her food.. haha!!

Well I hope her appetite will come back soon.  It is always a headache if they don't eat..

New blog for the girls

"New blog" - because there was an "old blog". Previously had a blog for the 2 girls. But I've left it "un-maintained" for the past year. So I thought, well, let's start afresh. I'll try my best to keep the blog as updated as possible - to keep records of my 2 sweethearts.

 

So just to re-introduce the girls.. here's some little notes about them.

 

Schnappi - my 5year old Siberian Husky. Landed earth on 3rd Mar 06. Elder sister of two girls. Affectionately known as BeiBei. Extremely food-motivated. Always alert at any signs of food or treats. Will make sure she gets her meals on time thru non-stop pestering. Afraid of loud noises especially thunder.

Micole - my almost 3year old Maltese.  Landed earth on 10th Apr 08. Affectionately known as MiMi. A playful Maltese. Can keep herself entertained very well. Said to be "fearless" by our trainer. Loves to provoke the sister yet very submissive to her. Have bad habit of snapping at people.
